National Cadet Corps (NCC)

Bahauddin Science College has One Unit of National Cadet Crops (NCC) with total vacancy of 55 cadets (8-Gujarat BN NCC battalion). NCC is amongst the most sought co curricular activities by the students as it gives them an opportunity to experience and adopt the disciplined life of our brave soldiers. Students enrolling into first year can apply for the NCC. Selection of the cadets is strictly based on physical fitness and height criteria. Selected cadets require to be regular in all the NCC activities and pared (Thursday) for all the three years. Following is the brief information on NCC.

AIM OF NCC

The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.
